National Public School is tucked away on 3rd B Cross Road in Yelahanka. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit of a residential spot that has grown a lot lately. We’ve been here through all those changes. The school isn't some grand monument; it’s a place where kids from the neighborhood come to spend their day. We have the usual rows of classrooms and a staff room that’s always a bit cluttered with papers and tea mugs. The mornings are the loudest time when all the parents are dropping kids off and the narrow road gets a bit crowded. We just try to keep things moving. Inside, it’s a bit quieter once the bell rings. We have teachers who have been with us for years and know most of the families by name. It’s not a corporate environment. We don’t have fancy slogans painted on the walls. It’s just a school where we teach the subjects and hope the kids take something away from it. Sometimes the paint in the hallways looks a bit tired, but the atmosphere is generally okay. We focus on the daily routine of lessons and lunch breaks. It’s a straightforward setup for local families who want a school that is close to home. We like being part of the Yelahanka community and seeing the kids grow up over the years. It is an honest place for learning without all the extra fuss.
