National Insurance Co

Our office is located in the Sathi Complex on Lalbagh Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the cars and people heading toward the gardens. We are at number 64. It’s not a huge place, just a regular office where we deal with insurance paperwork all day long. There are desks piled with folders and a few chairs for people who come in to ask about their policies. We spend a lot of time on the phone or typing things into the computer system. It gets a bit stuffy in the afternoons when the sun hits the front of the building, but we have some fans going. People come in with all sorts of problems, usually after an accident or when a premium is due. We try to get through the forms as fast as we can. It is a lot of reading fine print and making sure the stamps are in the right place. Working for National Insurance Co means we see a lot of different faces every week. Some people have been coming to this specific branch for years. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just the standard calendars and maybe a few notices. It is just a plain, working office where we handle the day-to-day business of insurance. We keep the doors open and just do the work that needs doing. It’s a bit repetitive, but it’s our job and we do it every day.
