National Centre For Biological Sciences

We have been over here at Sunkadakatte for a good while now, tucked away right behind the Muneshwara Temple on Adarsh Road. It is a bit of a quiet spot once you find your way onto 3rd Main and take the turn at Marappa 3rd Cross. Most days, we are just busy with the science work, looking at different biological things and trying to make sense of how life works under the microscope. The building isn't anything fancy or modern, just a regular place where people come to do their research and write up their findings. Sometimes it gets a bit busy with students and researchers running around between the labs, but mostly we just stick to our tasks and keep our heads down. Living and working in Bangalore means dealing with the traffic every morning, but once you get inside the gates here, it is mostly just quiet hallways and people reading papers. We have got some good folks working here who really know their stuff and don't care much for being flashy. The temple nearby sometimes has bells ringing in the morning, which is a nice background while we set up the equipment for the day. It is not like those big corporate labs you see on TV with glass walls everywhere. Our place is more lived-in, with books piled up on desks and posters on the walls that have been there for years. We just try to keep everything running smoothly without making a fuss.
