Nathan'S Masala & Spices

We are located on Plot No. 28, right on the Banaswadi Main Road. If you are familiar with Bengaluru, you know this road gets quite a bit of traffic. We are specifically in the Banaswadi area, very close to the bus stand. It’s a good landmark for people trying to find us. Nathan'S Masala & Spices is a place where we spend our whole day dealing with different grinds and blends. The air inside always smells like cumin and turmeric. It’s a bit of a struggle with the dust from the road sometimes, but we keep the doors shut as much as we can. The noise of the buses pulling in and out is like a clock for us. We know what time it is just by which bus is arriving. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy carpets. Our floors are concrete and they get stained with spice dust. That’s just part of the job. The team here is small. We handle the packing and the weighing ourselves. It’s a lot of manual work. Sometimes we sit out front for a break when the weather is okay. Banaswadi has changed a lot over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We don’t really do much advertising. People mostly find us because they pass by on the main road and see our sign.
