Nandi Engineering Ltd.

Our workshop is located at No. 1, M. G. Road. We are in the Mid Pord House building, which is quite close to Trinity Circle. Being on M. G. Road means it is loud outside almost all the time. We do a lot of engineering work here, mostly repairs and custom parts that people need. There’s always the sound of metal hitting metal or someone using a drill. The floors are stained with oil and grease, which I guess is what you expect in a place like this. We have a small team of guys who know their way around a lathe and a welding machine. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We keep our tools scattered around because we use them constantly. Sometimes a job takes longer because we run into a problem we didn't see coming, but we eventually figure it out. We don’t have a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and talk to whoever isn't holding a torch. The office part is just a corner with a few filing cabinets and a computer that’s seen better days. We’ve stayed in this location because everyone knows where Trinity Circle is. It makes it easier for people to drop off their broken equipment. We just do the work and try to get it out the door on time. We’ve been here for years and the noise doesn't bother us anymore. We just keep our heads down and weld.
