Nalanda English High School

Nalanda English High School is at No.46/2 in J P Nagar. We are right near the Ragigudda Temple, which is a major landmark for anyone living in this part of the city. You can often hear the temple bells from the school during the 2nd Phase mornings. The school is on the 16th Main road, so it’s in a residential part of the neighborhood. It’s been here for many years. The building is a few floors high and has the typical look of a local school. Every morning, the street gets busy with kids in their uniforms. We have classrooms for different grades, and they are usually quite full. The teachers have been here for a long time and know the families around J P Nagar. It’s not a high-tech school with iPads everywhere; it’s more about textbooks and writing in notebooks. We have a small playground where the kids get some air. The halls can be a bit dark on cloudy days, but it’s a comfortable place. People choose us because we are right here in the community. It’s a simple setup where the focus is on the daily lessons and getting the homework done. We deal with the usual school problems like leaky taps or noisy classrooms. It’s just a normal school where children grow up and move on to college. We just keep the routine going and try to make sure everyone learns something new.
