Nagendra Hair Salon

Nagendra Hair Salon is located at No.12, on the 10th Cross in Vasanth Nagar. We are specifically on the 7th Main. Vasanth Nagar is a nice area, and our shop is tucked away on a street that has a lot of character. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and the shop has become a bit of a local fixture. It’s not a very big space, just a couple of chairs and some basic tools. We do haircuts and shaves, mostly for the men in the neighborhood. The 10th cross gets a fair amount of foot traffic, so we often have people just popping in when they see an empty chair. The walls are painted a simple color and we have a few pictures of different hairstyles hanging up, though they’re getting a bit old now. We start early in the morning and stay open until the sun goes down. It’s a straightforward job. We sweep the floor, sharpen the razors, and talk to the regulars about what’s happening in the area. There’s a lot of trees around Vasanth Nagar, so it feels a bit cooler here than in other parts of Bangalore. We don't have any fancy gimmicks or expensive products. We just do the work as best as we can and keep the shop running. It’s a quiet life and we like it that way. We’ve built up a lot of trust with the people who live around the 7th main for many years.
