You can find Nag Interiors Pvt Ltd over at 48 12th Cross on Magadi Road. It’s a busy part of Bangalore, and our workshop is right in the middle of it. If you walk in, you’ll probably smell wood glue and sawdust right away. We aren't the type of place with a shiny showroom or people in suits. We’re usually wearing dusty clothes and holding measuring tapes. Most of our days are spent cutting plywood or figuring out how to make a cabinet fit into a weirdly shaped corner. It gets pretty loud when the saws are running, so we do a lot of our talking over tea breaks outside. We’ve been in this spot for a good number of years now. We know the other shop owners on the street and how hard it is to find a parking spot around here. Some days the wood delivery is late, or a machine breaks down, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We do residential stuff mostly, kitchens and wardrobes and that kind of thing. It’s honest work that keeps our hands busy. We don't have a big social media presence or anything. Most people just see our sign or hear about us from a neighbor. We just want to make sure the hinges work right and the finish looks okay before we head home for the day. It’s just how we operate here in Karnataka.
