N Shankara General Insurance Consultant

I run my consultancy, N Shankara General Insurance Consultant, out of a small office in JP Nagar. To be precise, it’s at number 9 on the 3rd main in Sree Maruti Nagar, which is part of the Kothanur area of J P Nagar. It’s a quiet residential kind of neighborhood, so it doesn’t feel like a big corporate district at all. My office is mostly just a desk, some chairs for people to sit, and a lot of folders full of insurance papers. I spend my time talking to people about their policies and trying to make sense of all the forms they have to fill out. It’s a one-on-one kind of thing, not a big agency with hundreds of employees. I like being in Maruti Nagar because it’s easy for folks around here to just drop by when they have a question. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical place to do business. I’ve lived and worked in this part of Bangalore for a long time, so I know the streets around here pretty well. Sometimes I’m out visiting clients, but mostly you can find me here at the 3rd main office. It’s a simple way of working, focusing on the people who come through the door rather than trying to grow into some huge firm. It’s just me doing my job day by day, helping people understand their paperwork without making it too complicated.
