Mysore Cements Ltd.

Our office is situated on the first floor of Industry House. It’s a solid building that’s been around for quite some time. Being on the first floor means we don’t have to wait for the lift most of the time, which is lucky because that lift can be slow. Mysore Cements Ltd. has been here for a while, and the space has that lived-in feel to it. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the sound of printers going off at odd hours. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even when it’s hot outside. We have a few desks pushed together and some chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. People come and go throughout the day, mostly just workers or delivery folks bringing in more documents. It’s a busy place but not in a way that feels stressed out. We just get on with our jobs. Sometimes the windows get a bit grimy from the city air, but you can still see the street below. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. It’s just us and the work we have to do. Every morning starts with some tea and a look at what needs to be finished before the day ends. Industry House is a bit of a landmark, so people usually find us without needing a map. It’s just a regular workplace doing its thing.
