Muskan Cement Hardware

We are over in HSR Layout, specifically on Saki Vihar Road. It’s a busy stretch of road and we’ve got our hands full most of the time. The shop is filled with bags of cement stacked high and shelves full of all kinds of hardware stuff. You name it, we probably have a dusty box of it somewhere in the back. Selling cement is heavy work because those bags don't move themselves. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks that pull up right in front of the door. The floor is always a bit white from the cement dust, no matter how many times we try to clean it. People from the neighborhood come in for all sorts of things, like a specific size of screw or a new bucket for their bathroom. We don't have a computer system to track everything, we just know what’s in stock by looking at the shelves. It’s a very simple operation run by a couple of us. We sit on plastic stools near the entrance so we can see who is coming in from the road. HSR has grown so much lately that there is always some construction happening nearby, which keeps us busy. We don't do any big advertising, people just see the bags and the signs as they drive past on Saki Vihar Road. It is straightforward work for regular people who need supplies.
