You can find us at Muneer Indian Caterers right across from the police station on Zia Street. It’s a handy landmark because everyone in Devarjeevanahalli knows where that is so nobody ever gets lost looking for us. We’ve been at No.360 for a long time now and the building has seen better days but it’s got everything we need to cook for the neighborhood. The mornings are usually the loudest time because that’s when we get all the fresh supplies delivered and the noise of the crates hitting the floor echoes down the street. We don't really have a front office so if you come by you’ll probably just see us in our aprons working around the big burners. It’s hot and sweaty work but it’s what we know how to do best. We don't use any fancy machines or anything like that because we prefer doing things by hand even if it takes a bit longer. Sometimes the power goes out or the water pressure is low but we just find a way to keep things moving because people are waiting for their food. We know all the shopkeepers on Zia Street and we usually trade stories while we’re waiting for the pots to boil. It’s a tight-knit place and we’re just glad to be a part of the daily life around here without any fuss or complicated plans.
