Mummy Food

Mummy Food is located at number 161 in the Mahalakshmipuram Layout. We are right on Shankar Nagar Main Road. This area is mostly residential, so we see a lot of the same neighbors every day. We don't have a big fancy storefront or anything like that. It’s a modest setup where we focus on cooking. The name comes from the way we try to make things feel like home, but we don't go around making big claims about it. It’s just us in the kitchen handling the orders as they come in. Shankar Nagar is a nice part of town, and being on the main road helps people find us easily. We don't use any complicated equipment, just standard stoves and pans like you’d find anywhere else. Most of what we do is for people who are too busy to cook for themselves but want something that isn't from a big chain. We pack things up or serve them right here for the local residents. The hours are long, starting early to get things ready for the day ahead. We don’t have a lot of staff, so everyone chips in with the cleaning and the prep work. It’s a lot of manual work, but it keeps us busy and involved in the community. We just stay focused on the tasks and keep the place running as best as we can.
