The Mukesh Mahalaxmi Paper Agency has been operating out of Hanumanth Nagar for a good number of years now. We are located at number 114, specifically on the 4th Cross in the New vadaj area. This part of the city is usually pretty busy, and being situated on the 4th Cross means we see a lot of local people passing by every single day. Our shop space is mostly filled up with big stacks of paper and boxes of different sizes. It can get a little bit tight in here when we have a large delivery arriving, but we manage to keep everything organized well enough to find what we are looking for. The agency is a very straightforward operation. We do not have any big neon signs or flashy decorations, just the simple work we do every morning and afternoon. A typical day starts with us unloading the new arrivals and checking our inventory levels. New vadaj is a neighborhood where people still know their neighbors, so we often end up chatting with the folks from the nearby shops. The 4th Cross is not a very wide street, so when the delivery trucks come by, things get a bit cramped out front for a while. We spend most of our time moving boxes around and getting orders ready for the people who need them. It is a lot of physical lifting, but we like the routine of the job. The air always has that specific smell of fresh paper and ink.
