Mughals Caterers

Working near Shivaji Circle is never quiet and that is something we just got used to over the years at Mughals Caterers. Our spot is right at No.1 on Meenakshi Koil Street and you can always hear the buses pulling into the Shivajinagar Busstop just a short walk away. It is a very busy part of town and we are right in the middle of all that energy every single day. We spend most of our time in the back where the big pots are simmering and the heat gets pretty intense during the lunch hour. There is always someone coming in or out and we are usually rushing to get orders packed up for delivery. The street outside is narrow and sometimes it’s a real struggle just to get our supply trucks parked but we manage to make it work somehow. We don't have a big flashy sign or a lobby for people to sit in because we are mostly focused on the cooking part of the business. It’s a family-run kind of thing and we all have our specific jobs to do from cleaning the vegetables to making sure the spices are just right. We’ve been in Shivaji Nagar for a long time and we’ve seen the area change a lot but our routine stays pretty much the same. We just keep our heads down and keep the stoves going until the last order is done.
