Mrs Khans Biryani Caterers is based at 48/1 Lingarajapuram. We have been cooking out of this kitchen for a long time now. It is a small space, but we make it work for everything we do. Lingarajapuram is a busy place, and our street is no different from the rest. You can usually smell the rice and the spices from outside on the sidewalk before you even see the door. We are not a big factory or a giant company. It is just a family-run operation. We started by cooking for small parties for friends and it just grew from there over the years. The kitchen is always hot and there is always someone stirring a big pot. We do not use any fancy equipment, just the same stuff we have always had. People know us in the neighborhood because we have been here so long at number 48/1. It is not a fancy restaurant where you sit down and eat a meal. We mostly focus on getting the food ready for orders and events. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when there are big orders to finish, but we always manage to get through it. We do not have a marketing team. People just hear about us from their friends and neighbors. We just want to make decent food that tastes like home. That is really all there is to our story.
