Our place is over in Chamarajpet, right near the Satya Pramod Kalyan Mantap. If you know the 9th Cross and the 3rd Main, we are at number 135. It’s a busy part of the city, especially during the wedding season when the hall nearby is full. We start our mornings very early, usually before the sun is even up, because that’s when the cooking has to begin. There’s always the sound of big pots moving around and the smell of spices in the air. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s a working kitchen and an office area where we take down orders in big notebooks. We spend a lot of time on our feet checking on supplies or making sure the packing is done right. The floor is usually a bit damp from cleaning and there are stacks of crates waiting to be loaded onto the vans. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while now. The neighbors are used to our delivery bikes coming and going at all hours. We have a small table where we sit down for a quick break and some tea when the rush dies down for a bit. It’s hard work and the kitchen gets hot, but it’s what we do. We just focus on getting the food out to where it needs to be. It’s a bit chaotic when three orders go out at once, but we manage somehow.
