Mother Teresa Public School

Our school, Mother Teresa Public School, sits near Bel Circle in the Jalahalli area. It’s right off the Mes Ring Road, so the traffic can be a bit much during the morning drop-off times. You probably see the buses and parents on scooters every day if you live around here. The building has been part of this neighborhood for a while. We have kids of different ages coming in and out. It’s a typical school day most of the time, with teachers marking attendance and children playing in whatever space they can find. It isn't a massive campus, but we make it work for the students. The staff mostly lives nearby too, so it feels like a local community thing. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment, just the stuff you need to teach. Sometimes the gate gets stuck or the water cooler needs fixing, but we handle it. It’s just a place for education where the focus is on getting through the syllabus and helping the kids pass their exams. People in Jalahalli know us as the school near the circle. It’s busy and loud, especially when the final bell goes off in the afternoon. We see the same faces every day, from the local shopkeepers to the parents waiting outside. It’s a plain, straightforward school for the families around this part of the city. We keep the doors open and do the work every single day.
