Our operations are based out of No. 1 & 2 in Survey No. 13, located in Subramanyapura Village. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the city center, but we like being in Uttarahalli. The area still has a bit of a village feel to it, with more open space than you’d find in the middle of town. We are basically working out of a large shed-like structure that we’ve converted to fit our needs. Since we deal with food, a lot of our space is dedicated to the kitchen and storage areas. It gets pretty busy in the early mornings, and there is always the sound of crates being moved or people calling out to each other. We aren't trying to win any design awards with this place. The floors are concrete and the walls are just painted white. It’s a practical space designed for work, not for showing off. We spend a lot of time checking ingredients and making sure everything is moving on schedule. Sometimes the rain on the roof is so loud we have to shout to be heard, but we don't mind much. Most of the staff live nearby, so there is a nice local connection to the place. It’s a hard-working environment where everyone rolls up their sleeves and gets their hands dirty every day. No one here is too worried about fancy titles or having polished offices.
