Monisha Enterprises. You can find us over at Marathahalli on Tilak Maidan Road, at number 103/A. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something going on right outside our door. We do a bit of everything here, mostly general business stuff that keeps the neighborhood running. The shop is small and can get a bit crowded when we have a lot of supplies coming in at once. We keep things simple and don’t bother with much decoration or anything like that. There’s a counter where we talk to people and some shelves in the back for storage. Most mornings start with opening up the metal shutters and sweeping the front step. Marathahalli gets very dusty, so we have to clean things off pretty often during the week. We’ve been on Tilak Maidan Road for a while, so we know most of the people who walk past every single day. It’s a basic operation and we like it that way. We don't have any fancy marketing plans or big slogans to show off. We just provide what people need and try to be fair about it. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back on. It’s just how things are around here. We work hard, go home, and then come back and do it all again the next day. Sometimes we stay late if there is extra work to finish up.
