Money Plant

Our place, Money Plant, is located at Number 14 on Shop Street right in the heart of Basavanagudi. If you know Bangalore, you know this area has a lot of history and old trees. Our shop isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the shops around us change hands many times. We handle a lot of different things related to money, and it keeps us pretty busy from Monday to Saturday. Usually, there’s a bit of a breeze coming through the door if it’s not too dusty outside. We don’t use any of those complicated scripts when we talk to people. We just say it like it is. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait around, which gives us time to catch up on paperwork or chat with the neighbors. People in Basavanagudi are mostly friendly, so it’s a good spot to be. We keep a few actual plants around the office too, hence the name, though some of them are doing better than others. It’s a relaxed environment, but we take the work seriously. If you’re walking down Shop Street, you’ll see our sign. It’s nothing flashy, just us doing our thing. We’re glad to be part of the neighborhood and plan to stay here as long as we can.
