Mohan Stores

Mohan Stores sits right near the Marathahalli Bridge at number 645. If you know the Outer Ring Road, you know how loud and busy it gets around here. Our shop is right in the middle of all that noise. We deal with a lot of commuters and local residents who just need to grab something quickly. The space inside is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible on the shelves. There is always a pile of boxes near the back door that needs to be broken down. I spend most of my time behind the counter, watching the traffic crawl by outside. It gets really dusty from the road construction and the buses going past. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. If you ask for something and I can't find it immediately, it's probably just buried under a newer shipment. The floor is concrete and a bit stained, but it's easy to wash down at the end of the night. We stay open pretty late because this area never seems to sleep. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to find things for customers. It's not a polished place, but it serves the purpose. We’ve been at this Marathahalli spot for a while now and we've seen the whole neighborhood change around us while we stay mostly the same.
