Mohan Mens Salon

You can find Mohan Mens Salon over at No 6/80 on HM Road in Lingarajapuram. We are situated right opposite the Hyundai showroom, which is a big landmark that everyone knows. Being on HM Road means there is always a lot of traffic and people moving around. The shop itself is pretty modest. We have the usual setup with chairs and a small area for people to wait. We don't have anything fancy like coffee machines or television screens. People usually just talk to each other or look out the window at the cars going by. The light in the shop is bright so we can see what we are doing. We've seen Lingarajapuram change quite a bit, but we just stay here doing what we know. The regulars come in and they don't even have to say what they want anymore. We just know. It is a friendly place but we don't waste too much time on small talk if we are busy. On Saturdays, it can get quite hectic with a line out the door. We just take it one person at a time. The floor is tile and it gets slippery if we don't sweep the hair away fast. It’s just a normal gents salon for the local people. We have been here for a good while and we plan to stay for as long as people keep coming in and wanting a trim or a shave.
