Modi International

Modi International is located at No. 3/1 in the Munneshwara Industrial Estate. It’s right off Tumkur Road in the Peenya Industrial Area, which is a massive place if you’ve ever tried to find a specific gate there. Our unit is basically a functional space where we get the work done. Peenya is known for being loud and industrial, and we fit right in with the rest of the workshops and factories. Every morning, the area fills up with workers and the sound of machinery starting up. We handle a lot of international-type dealings from this small corner, though you wouldn't necessarily know it just by looking at the building. It’s a lot of emails, phone calls, and packing boxes. The road outside can get pretty backed up with trucks, so we have to plan our shipping carefully. It isn't a glamorous job. Most of the time we are just worrying about logistics and making sure nothing gets lost in transit. The industrial estate has a certain grit to it, and we've been here long enough that the sounds of the neighboring units don't even bother us anymore. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest way to make a living in one of the biggest industrial hubs around. We don't mind the long hours as long as things get out the door on time.
