Modern English Medium School

Our school sits at No 16 on 6th B Main in the II Phase of J P Nagar. It is a residential area, so it is usually quiet except for when the school day starts or ends. The building is tucked away among houses and small corner shops. It is a convenient location for the local families who live within walking distance. We have a small gate and a bit of a driveway where the school vans park. Inside, the rooms are painted a plain color and we have wooden cupboards full of old maps and science kits. It is the kind of place where you probably know the person living in the house next door. We do not have a huge auditorium, so we hold our functions in the courtyard or the main hall. The teachers here often stay for many years because they like the neighborhood. J P Nagar has changed a lot, with new apartment buildings going up all the time, but the school stays pretty much the same. We have a small library where the kids can go to get away from the noise for a bit. The chairs might squeak and the floor is a bit worn out in the high-traffic areas, but it works fine. We do not use any fancy apps to talk to parents; we usually just give them a phone call or chat at the gate. It is a very hands-on way of doing things.
