Ming Ling

We are located at number 73 on Mahatma Gandhi Road, which is pretty much the heart of everything. We’ve been here for a long time, watching the street change around us. The restaurant has that old-school Chinese place feel, with the heavy wooden chairs and the dim lighting. It isn't one of those modern, trendy spots with minimalist decor. We like it the way it is. The kitchen is always busy, and you can hear the woks clanking from the back. We serve the kind of food that people have been coming here for for years. The menu hasn't changed much because our customers usually know exactly what they want before they even sit down. It gets very busy on weekend nights, and sometimes the wait for a table can be a bit long. The staff has been with us for years, so we all know how the place runs. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Word of mouth has always been enough for us. The windows look out onto the main road, so you can watch the crowds while you eat. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs to get to us, but most people don't seem to mind. We just focus on keeping the kitchen running and making sure the food is hot when it hits the table. It’s our life on MG Road.
