Minds & Values, or M&V as most people call us, is tucked away in Basavanagudi. If you know Bangalore, you know this neighborhood has a very specific feel to it. It’s older and quieter than the tech hubs. We work as a talent search partner, which basically means we spend our time looking for the right people for different jobs. It’s mostly phone calls and looking through piles of resumes all day long. We started this in a small office here because we liked the vibe of the area. It’s not a big corporate building with a receptionist at a front desk. Most of the time, it’s just us working through our lists and trying to match candidates with what companies are asking for. It gets pretty hectic when a client needs someone immediately. We’ve seen the job market change quite a bit lately, especially here in Bangalore. People come in for interviews or just to drop off their details. We try to keep things straightforward and honest with everyone who reaches out. Recruiting can be tricky because people are unpredictable, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a flashy website or huge advertisements. Most of our work comes through people who know us or have worked with us before. It’s a steady pace, and we like being based in this part of town. It is a simple operation with no frills.
