Millennium Shoppe

Millennium Shoppe is at 5 20 21, right across from Sreeraj Lassi Bar in Teacher Colony on Brigade Road. Being on Brigade Road means there is never a dull moment. We get all kinds of people walking in, some who are actually looking to buy things and some who just want to get out of the sun for a few minutes. The lassi bar across the street is a good landmark because everyone knows it. Our shop isn't very large, but we try to keep a good variety of items on the shelves. It’s a bit of a mix, and sometimes the arrangement doesn't make much sense to anyone but us. The floor tiles are a bit worn out from all the foot traffic over the years. We have a ceiling fan that wobbles a little when it’s on the highest setting, but it keeps the place cool enough. We don't use any high-tech gadgets for our inventory. We just look at the shelves and see what’s missing. The noise from the street is constant, with cars honking and people talking, but you get used to it after a while. We aren't a big chain store or anything corporate. It’s just a local shop where we know a lot of the faces that pass by every day. We open up in the morning and stay until the crowds start to thin out late in the evening when the streetlights come on.
