We have our main base over at Sampangiram Nagar, right on Kumara Krupa Road 6. It’s a decent area but the traffic on Kumara Krupa Road can be a real pain when we are trying to get our delivery vans out. Our building is mostly used for storage and a small area for the staff to do the paperwork. We distribute various goods to retailers and other outlets. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the trucks are loaded correctly and that they leave on time. We don't really have a showroom or a place for walk-in customers to browse. It’s more about boxes and pallets and moving things from the back to the front. We have been operating from this location for many years, so we’ve seen the shops around us change quite a bit. The workers here spend most of their time on their feet, moving stock around or checking the inventory on their clipboards. It can get pretty hot in the warehouse during the summer months, but we just keep going. We don't go in for any big corporate slogans or anything like that. We are just a group of people doing a job and trying to stay organized in the middle of all the chaos of the city. Every day is a bit different depending on what orders come in, but the basic work of moving goods stays the same. We just focus on keeping the wheels turning and getting the pallets out the door.
