Meu Engineering

You can find us over at 83/2 Banneraghatta Road. We are part of the Doddamma Industrial Layout in Hulimavu. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you’re coming from the city center, especially with how the road is these days. The layout itself is full of small units like ours, all doing different kinds of engineering work. Our space is mostly taken up by the big machines and the materials we keep in stock. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see someone working on a machine or looking over some drawings on a wooden table. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time measuring things and making sure the cuts are right. The floor is concrete and has seen a lot of wear over the years. We get a lot of trucks coming through the layout, so it’s never really quiet here. Rain makes the entrance a bit muddy, but we put down some boards to walk on. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we often borrow tools or help each other out when something breaks. It’s a tight-knit spot despite all the grease and noise. We just keep our heads down and finish the work that’s on the bench for that day. It’s honest work and we’ve been at it for a while now.
