We are located right on the ground floor of the building at 5 6, 12th Main, 9th Cross. This is the Hosakerehalli Main Road area in Ganapathinagar, Bangalore 26. Since we are on the ground floor at Metlife India Life Insurance Company Ltd, we get a lot of noise from the street. You can hear the bikes and the buses going past all day long. It is a busy spot but it is convenient because people do not have to climb any stairs to get to us. The office is basically one big room with desks lined up along the walls. We have stacks of files everywhere because there is always something to process. It is a bit messy at times, honestly, but we know where everything is. The staff here has been together for a while, so we just get on with it. We do not do those big corporate team building things. We just work, eat lunch together, and try to help the customers who come through the door. Usually, people are coming in to ask about their life insurance policies or to update their address. It is straightforward work. We keep the door open sometimes to let a breeze in, even if it brings in some dust from the road. It is just how we do things in this part of Bangalore. We stay pretty busy until five or six in the evening when we finally lock up.
