Merritt Products

Merritt Products is tucked away at No. 277 4th Main in the 4th Phase of Peenya Industrial Area. Like most places around here, it’s all about the production. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a large hall with various machines and stacks of materials waiting to be processed. The floor is grey concrete, and we’ve got these high windows that let in a bit of sunlight, though they're usually pretty dusty. Working here means getting used to the heat and the constant hum of the equipment. We don’t use a lot of big words or have long meetings about strategy. We just look at the list of what needs to be made that day and we get started. The 4th Phase is a bit further in, so it’s slightly quieter than the main roads, but you still hear the heavy trucks rumbling past every few minutes. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all know the local spots for a quick tea or some snacks in the evening. It’s a straightforward environment. If something breaks, we fix it. If an order comes in, we fill it. There’s a certain rhythm to the work that keeps us going. We aren’t trying to change the world; we’re just making sure the products are made right and sent out on time. That is really all there is to our day.
