Memsab

Memsab is our shop located at number 19 in Gandhi Bazaar. We are right opposite the Gokul Restaurant which is a place almost everyone in this area knows. Gandhi Bazaar is a very busy part of the city and there is always something going on outside. From the smell of the flower market to the noise of the traffic it is a lively spot to be. Our shop deals with clothes and we have a lot of items packed into our space. Sometimes it feels a little bit tight when we have a lot of people inside but that is just how it goes in a popular market area. We spend our mornings getting the displays ready and making sure everything looks decent for the day. We are not a big fancy showroom with a lot of staff. It is just us here doing the daily work of running a retail shop. We have seen many changes in Gandhi Bazaar over the years but our little corner remains pretty much the same. The customers who come in are usually locals who have been shopping in this area for a long time. They know where we are and they know what to expect when they walk in. We do not do much in the way of advertising. We just rely on being in a good location and being here every day for the people who need us. It is hard work but we enjoy it.
