Our place is full of bags and containers of different things. It often smells a bit strong because of the chemicals, but you get used to it after a few minutes. We have been working out of this location for many years now. It’s a functional space meant for storage and selling, so it’s not really decorated. We spend our days checking orders and moving stock. The 2nd Main Road is a busy place to be, and it can be quite loud with all the unloading going on outside. We aren't a big company with many branches. It's just this one spot in New Tharagpet. We know our regulars and we know what they usually need. Sometimes the narrow streets make it hard for trucks to get through, which can be a bit of a headache. We don't do much in the way of promotion. People just find us at number 53 when they are looking for dyes. It is a very practical business. We keep our heads down and do the work. The building is old but sturdy. Mehta Dyes & Chemicals is just a part of the local trade here. We stay open until the work is finished for the day. It’s a noisy, busy place but it is where we belong.
