Colour Lines

Our place, Colour Lines, is located over on Avenue Road, specifically near the R C Technical Road section. If you know this part of the city, you know how packed it gets. We are at number 41334. It’s a tight spot but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Most mornings start with moving boxes around so there is actually room to walk. It’s not a polished showroom like you see in malls. It’s a working shop. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to get things down. The dust from the road comes in whenever the door is open, so we are always wiping things off. People come in looking for specific shades or just a brush. We don't have a big fancy staff, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. Sometimes we get the address mixed up with other spots on Avenue Road because the numbering is a bit strange, but we’ve been here long enough that the regulars find us fine. The tea stall nearby is where we spend our breaks. It’s a simple life running a shop here. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping the shelves stocked and making sure the customers get what they asked for. It’s loud, it’s busy, and the floor is usually a bit messy, but that is how we like it. We are just people selling paint on a busy street.
