Mega Mart

Mega Mart is located in T Dasarahalli, right beside the Rajalakshami Borewell. The area is quite industrial, so there are always trucks and heavy machinery moving around. It can get pretty loud and dusty, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Despite the name Mega Mart, we aren't one of those massive stores you see in the malls. We are a local shop that carries a lot of different items our neighbors actually need every day. The building is simple, with a wide front that we leave open during the day. We have stacks of items everywhere because we try to keep a lot of inventory on hand. Sometimes the aisles get a bit narrow, so you have to be careful how you walk. We don't have a fancy uniform or anything. We just wear our regular clothes and get to work. Most of our customers are people who work in the nearby factories or live in the houses around the corner. We know their faces and we know what they usually come in for. It makes the day more pleasant when you can have a quick chat with someone you recognize. We spend a lot of time checking our stock and ordering more of the popular items. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and moving things around, but it keeps us active. We don't have a big philosophy about what we do. We just open up, serve the people who come in, and close up when the sun goes down.
