Matrubai Rama Rao Sons

We are located at No.5 on Mallikarjuna Temple Street, which is right in the heart of Chickpet near Raisoni Park. If you know this area, you know how tight the lanes can get. Matrubai Rama Rao Sons has been part of this neighborhood for a while now. The temple is close by, so we often hear the bells and the morning prayers while we are setting things up. It’s a family-run kind of place, nothing too big or flashy. Most mornings start with moving stuff around to make space for people to walk in. Chickpet is always moving, and we are just one small part of that big puzzle. We get all sorts of folks coming through, some just looking and some who have been buying from us since my father’s time. It can get dusty and the heat in the afternoons is no joke, but we have our fans running. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. People find us because they know the street or someone told them where to go. We keep things pretty straightforward. If we have what you need, we tell you, and if we don't, we might know who does. It’s just about getting the work done and making sure the shop stays open for whoever needs us. The street gets really crowded on weekends, so those are our busiest days. We just keep at it and handle the business as it comes, day after day without any fuss.
