Anugraha Home Foods

If you ever find yourself in Mathikere, you might pass by the Gurunath Nivas Building at No. 14. That is where we run Anugraha Home Foods. It is basically exactly what it sounds like. We spend most of our mornings in the kitchen area getting everything ready. The smell of the food usually fills up the whole building by ten in the morning. It is a lot of hard work, mostly standing on our feet and making sure the recipes are coming out the same as they always do. We don't use any big fancy machines, it is mostly just us and our pots and pans. Mathikere is a busy area so there is always noise outside from the street, but inside we just focus on the cooking. Sometimes we run out of ingredients and someone has to run out to the local market quickly. It can be a bit chaotic during the lunch rush, but we enjoy the pace. We aren't some big food chain, just a local spot in a regular building. We’ve had some days where things didn’t go right, like a batch of spices being too strong, but we just fix it and keep going. Most people who come by know us by name now. It’s a simple life but it keeps us busy and we like providing something real from our kitchen.
