Mathaji Provision Store

Mathaji Provision Store is located in the Kothanur Dinne area of J P Nagar 8th Phase. We are right near the Bwssb water tank, which is a good landmark for people to find us. Bangalore has grown so much, but our corner feels like a small village still. I sell all the essential provisions like rice varieties, ragi, and different types of oils. The shop is usually packed with sacks of grain on the floor. I have a small scale for weighing everything out. It’s a bit of a workout lifting those heavy bags every day, but it keeps me active. My wife helps me out during the busy morning hours when everyone wants their milk packets at the same time. We have a lot of regular customers who have been coming here for years. They know if they need something late at night, they can just knock on the side door. I try to keep the prices fair, even when things get more expensive at the market. The roof is made of tin, so it gets very loud when it rains. I usually have a radio playing some old songs in the background. We don't have any fancy decorations, just the products stacked up. It’s a lot of work to keep track of everything, but I enjoy being my own boss in this little shop and helping the neighbors get their groceries.
