Match Well

Match Well is tucked away in the Omer Complex over on Arunachalam Mudaliar Street. It is number 20 if you are looking for the door. Old Poor House Road is right nearby, so there is always a lot of movement outside with carts and bikes going past. The complex itself is one of those older buildings where you have to know where you are going or you might miss us. I spend most of my day sitting at the main desk surrounded by piles of paper and whatever stock we haven't put away yet. It is not the cleanest or the most modern office you will ever see, but we know where everything is. We have a lot of regular people who come in because they know we have what they need without making a big fuss about it. The lighting inside can be a bit dim on cloudy days, but we have a few extra lamps we turn on. We don’t really have a staff of people in uniforms or anything like that. It is just a couple of us handling the orders and making sure the deliveries get sent out to the right places. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the back window, so we have to move some boxes around when it pours. It is just a normal, everyday place where we do our work and go home to our families in the evening after the sun goes down and the street gets quiet.
