Mataji Plastics

If you walk down O T C Road in Cottonpet, you’ll find us at number 501. Mataji Plastics has been here for years. The street is always full of people and carts, so it’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes. We sell all sorts of plastic items. It's a small shop but we keep it packed from floor to ceiling. Most days it’s just us moving things around and talking to the regulars who come in from the neighborhood. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. It is just a family business. My brother and I take turns at the counter. Sometimes we lose track of time because the market is so loud and busy. We don’t have fancy displays. The products are right there in the bags or on the shelves where you can see them. People come to us because they know we have what they need for their homes or shops. It gets hot in the afternoons but we have a small fan that keeps us going. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years but our shop stays pretty much the same. We just like to keep things simple and honest. If you need some plastic stuff, you just come by and ask. We'll tell you what we have and what we don't. No big deal.
