If you head over to Gandhi Bazaar and look for G Block, you will find Maruti Paper Agency on the first floor at 68/3. It is a very busy market area, so there is always the smell of flowers and food floating up to our windows. Being on the first floor means we have to carry a lot of heavy paper bundles up the stairs, which is quite a task every morning. The shop is filled with stacks of different kinds of paper, and sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to move around. We deal with a lot of local printers and small shops that need supplies. The sound of the market below is always there, with vendors shouting and bells ringing from the temples nearby. We start our day early to beat the worst of the traffic, because getting a delivery truck into Gandhi Bazaar later in the day is almost impossible. It’s a cluttered space with invoices piled up on the main desk and pens that always seem to run out of ink when you need them. We don’t have a website or any fancy ads. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years because they know exactly where we are and what we have in stock. It’s a dusty, loud, and busy place to work, but it feels right being in the heart of the bazaar.
