Maruthi Vidyalaya School

Our school is located at No.17/1 on Banaswadi Main Road. We are tucked into Subbaya Palya, right in the Eracpa Reddy Layout. If you know where the Syndicate Bank is, we are very close to that. It’s a busy part of the neighborhood. Maruthi Vidyalaya School is a place where we spend most of our waking hours. There are kids everywhere usually, making a lot of noise. It’s a lively environment, that’s for sure. The building isn’t brand new, but it’s been around and it holds up. We have classrooms and a small area for the staff to sit. We try to keep things organized, though with students it’s hard to keep it perfect. The bells ring at the same time every day. We’ve got a bit of a routine going on. Banaswadi Main Road is always packed with buses and bikes. Sometimes it’s hard to hear yourself think when the traffic picks up. We are just local people running a local school. There’s nothing too complicated about it. We see the same parents every morning and afternoon. It feels like a small community even though the city is big. We just do our best to get through the lessons and keep everyone safe. The playground isn't very big but the children don't seem to mind it much. They just like being outside. It’s a simple life here in the layout. We just keep at it day after day.
