We are situated at number 19 in the Peenya Intustrial Area. It is right near the Anuman Temple, which is the best way to tell people how to find us if they are lost. Being in an industrial zone means there is a constant sound of heavy machinery and trucks moving on the road outside. The air around here often smells like burnt oil or metal, but you stop noticing it after you have been here a few hours. Our shop mostly serves the workers from the nearby factories when they are on their lunch breaks or heading home. We keep the things they need most often, like snacks and basic household items. The building is a plain concrete structure, nothing very special to look at. Inside, we have rows of metal racks that we try to keep organized, though it is hard when shipments arrive. I usually sit at the front desk where I can keep an eye on the door. The floor is made of grey concrete and has a few cracks in the corners from years of use. We are a small team, just a couple of us doing all the lifting and restocking the shelves. It is quite a lot of work to manage the deliveries because the lanes around here are so narrow and the trucks always get stuck. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the heat of the afternoon, and we just have to wait for it to come back.
