Mannat Unisex Salon

Mannat Unisex Salon is situated at Shop No. 1 on 4th Main in Vivek Nagar. We are on the 4th Cross, which is very close to the Vivek Nagar Bus Stand. Being near the bus stand means there is always a lot of activity outside our door. People are constantly rushing to catch their buses, and we see the crowds moving back and forth all day. Our shop is a small, functional space where we take care of both men and women. We have the basic setup with a few chairs, some sinks, and a lot of different combs and brushes. It is a place where neighbors meet and catch up on what is happening in the area. We do not go in for anything too decorative; the walls are plain and we keep our tools organized on the shelves. Sometimes someone will bring in a newspaper and leave it for the next person to read while they wait. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because we are always sweeping up after a haircut. We have seen kids grow up coming here, starting with their first haircut and now coming in as adults. It feels like a part of the daily life in Vivek Nagar. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It can get a bit cramped when it rains and everyone crowds inside to stay dry, but we manage just fine.
