Manjunatha Bar

We are located on Kanakapura Road, right where the traffic starts to get heavy in the evenings. Manjunatha Bar is a simple place where people stop by after a long day of work. We don't have dim lights or loud music like the pubs in the city center. It’s just tables, chairs, and a counter. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or workers heading home. They usually want a quick drink and maybe some spicy peanuts or eggs on the side. The atmosphere is pretty loud most nights with everyone talking at once. I spend a lot of time behind the bar or walking around to make sure nobody is causing trouble. It’s a tough business sometimes, dealing with people who have had a bit too much, but we’ve been here long enough to know how to handle it. The building itself is nothing special, just a sturdy spot that’s been around for years. We keep the drinks cold and the service as fast as we can manage with the few staff members we have. On weekends, it gets quite cramped, and we have to bring out extra stools. We don't bother with fancy cocktails or anything like that. It’s just a straightforward place to sit down for a bit. Kanakapura Road is always dusty and under construction, so we’re glad to provide a spot where people can get out of the sun.
