Manjunath Store

Manjunath Store is at number 659 on Om Shakthi Temple Road in Hegganahalli. We are a small place, the kind of shop where you can find a bit of everything you need for the house. It’s usually me or one of the family members behind the counter. The shelves are packed pretty tight from floor to ceiling because we try to keep a lot of variety for the neighbors. It gets a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at the same time, but nobody seems to mind much. We’ve been here in Hegganahalli for a long time, so we know most of the people who walk through the door by their names. We see the kids growing up and the older folks coming in for their daily supplies like milk and matches. The temple road is always busy, especially during festivals, and we stay open late to make sure everyone can get what they need. There’s no big strategy here, just staying open and keeping the essentials stocked up. Sometimes the delivery arrives late and we have to scramble to put things away, but that’s just part of running a shop. It’s a humble spot, just a local store doing its thing for the neighborhood every day. People often stop by just to say hello even if they don't buy anything, and that is fine with us because it makes the day go by faster and keeps us connected.
