Manjunath Rao

I work out of 801 C in the Vrindavan Society, which is part of the Indira Nagar B D A Complex area near Four Bungalows. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it’s a well-known spot. My name is Manjunath Rao and this has been my base for a long time. The society is one of those older places where everyone knows everyone else’s business. My office is basically just a room with a lot of files, a couple of old chairs, and a window that looks out onto N Datta Road. It’s not very modern. I have a lot of old books on the shelves that I still refer to. Most of my day is spent on the phone or meeting people who come by with papers. Indira Nagar is a busy area, but inside the society, it stays relatively calm. I don't have a big staff, maybe just one person to help with the filing and the door. We don't do any big promotions or anything. People usually find me through word of mouth or because they’ve seen my name on the directory for years. It’s a slow and steady kind of life. I like the routine of it. I walk to the nearby stalls for lunch and then come back to finish whatever is on my desk.
