Mangalore Hair Dresses is over in Wilson Garden, tucked away on 4th Cross. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We’ve been at 408/3 for a long time now. Wilson Garden is one of those older parts of Bangalore where everyone kind of knows each other. Our shop isn't big, just a few chairs and the usual tools we need for cutting hair. We mostly see the local guys from around the block or people who have been coming to us since they were kids. It’s a basic setup, no air conditioning or fancy lights, just some good fans and sharp scissors. We start early in the morning because that’s when the older crowd likes to come in before it gets too hot. The street outside is usually quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice. We spend most of our day sweeping up hair and chatting with neighbors who stop by. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a menu of a hundred different things. We just do hair. People come in, sit down, tell us what they want, and we do it. There’s a lot of history in these walls, even if it’s just a small hair shop. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don’t really change much around here because the regulars like it just the way it is.
