Mangala Traders

You can find Mangala Traders over in Nandini Layout. We are at Door No 15 in Raghavendra Nilaya, which is on the 1St Main road in Nanjundeshwara Nagar. The Carmel Garden School is just nearby, so we see a lot of parents and teachers walking past throughout the day. Our shop is a typical local trading spot. We carry a mix of household goods and daily essentials that people in the layout need for their kitchens. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it’s usually quiet in the afternoons but picks up in the evening when people come home. The shop itself is on the ground floor of the building. We have sacks of grain and various packaged items stacked on the shelves. It’s just me and my nephew running the place. We don't use any fancy computer systems for our inventory; we just know what we have and what needs ordering based on the empty gaps on the shelves. Sometimes neighbors stop by just to chat for a few minutes while they pick up their milk or sugar. The floor is tiled and we try to sweep it twice a day, but the dust from the street always finds its way in. It’s a comfortable, familiar place for the people living nearby. We’ve been here long enough that we know who likes which brand of tea or which soap. It’s not a supermarket, just a small corner shop where you can get your daily supplies.
